Holy week is a big time at Holy Cross. We have a variety of services to offer you and if you would like to take in the full complement of services there is a service almost every night of the week.
Come and enjoy what the season has to offer!

Tenebrae: a service of lessons & Pslams with no music. A candle is extinguished after each Psalm until we are left in darkness, with only the Light of Christ remaining. |

Maundy Thursday service with foot washing and Eucharist |
| Friday, April 22 |
7:00pm |
Good Friday service which will be a multimedia Stations of the Cross |
| Saturday, April 23 |
8:00pm |
Easter Vigil service. We start darkness and go to light as the salvation story is told. It is the most beautiful and most important service of Easter. |

Holy Eucharist, Rite I |

Holy Eucharist, Rite II |
After the 10:30am service on Easter Sunday there will be an Easter Egg hunt for the children, put on by the Julia Kraft guild |

Each year during Lent, we have fellowshipped, worshipped, and prayed with our brothers and sisters in First Presbyterian, Brown Chapel A.M.E., and St. Andrew's Lutheran Churches. This year, we welcome Central Missionary Baptist Church to our fellowship. Our congregations meet each wednesday during Lent.
At 6 PM, our host church provides soup and sandwiches.
At 7 PM, we worship and pray together. This year are worship is based on the book of the prophet Jonah.

Taize services are held on the first Tuesday of the month at St. Andrew's Lutheran at 6:30pm. All are welcome. |

This Sunday we will be collecting donations to the Holy Cross Food Pantry during offertory. Thank you for your support of this ministry.
